Friendship Bracelets

The girls in Third Class made friendship bracelets. Each bead represented a different quality associated with being a good friend including being kind, honest, understanding and respectful.

We try our best to be good friends with all our classmates.

Third classes visited Teach Oscail today to see their art exhibition.  Last week an artist visited our classes, we painted pictures which showed our best selves! Our paintings were then displayed in Teach Oscail on Church Street (opposite Dunnes Stores) and today we went to see them.  It was fantastic to see our work. Our families are welcome to pop in and see our work.

 Cubism We looked at some of the works of Pablo Picasso. He was one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. He is famous for the art movement known as Cubism. We coloured some pictures using Cubism styles.
